Job Opening: Money Coach Program Coordinator

Location: Racine, WI and Milwaukee, WI (partially remote)

Report to: Director of Volunteer Programs

Founded in 2006, SecureFutures is a dynamic and growing organization with a mission to provide financial education programs and resources to empower students to make sound financial decisions. Currently partnering with more than 250 high schools and community-based organizations statewide and beyond, we are results-driven and committed to continuous quality improvement.

The Money Coach program, conducted twice a year, is a semester-long initiative powered by community volunteers, delivered in collaboration with local high schools and community organizations. Volunteers, working in small groups, provide hands-on financial education and mentorship to high school juniors and seniors.

As the Racine Money Coach Program Coordinator, you will spearhead the program’s launch in Racine high schools. Your responsibilities include overseeing all facets of the program, from partner outreach and student recruitment to volunteer recruitment, training, and management. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in partnership development, curriculum design, program outcome assessment, and data tracking and entry. This position collaborates closely with Money Coach Program Managers, the Volunteer Manager, and the Program and Data Success Manager.


  1. Program Development & Management:
  • Contribute to scaling up the program with innovative strategies
  • Assist in developing program structure, curriculum, and materials
  • Collaborate with partners and volunteers to coordinate Money Coach sessions
  • Analyze feedback for actionable insights and contribute to curriculum improvement
  1. Partnership Development:
  • Research and identify potential partners for program expansion
  • Coordinate meetings with partner leadership to plan program logistics
  • Solicit feedback and address issues
  1. Student & Alumni Engagement:
  • Support partner sites in recruiting student participants
  • Build strong relationships with students, providing additional support
  • Execute communication strategies for session reminders and Alumni Network activities
  1. Volunteer Recruitment & Management (in partnership with the Volunteer Manager):
  • Develop a strategy to attract and retain volunteer coaches
  • Coordinate recruitment tactics, including meetings and social media campaigns
  • Screen and match volunteers for maximum impact
  • Assist in training, both in person and virtually, and problem-solving between partners and volunteers
  1. Data Collection & Analysis:
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools for program monitoring
  • Maintain accurate program data and update records in a timely manner
  • Implement data collection strategies for the Alumni Longitudinal Study
  • Assist in periodic reporting on program activity and impact
  1. Other:
  • Assist in planning and executing special initiatives and events
  • Participate in fundraising activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum three years of related work experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Success in building relationships with teens and young adults
  • Customer service or relationship management experience
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Engaging presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in data management
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and Google Drive
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and with diverse groups
  • Flexible schedule, including some evenings
  • Access to a reliable car for travel in the Racine area and to Milwaukee
