It is crucial to do our part to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. SecureFutures cares about the health and safety of our students, volunteers, donors, employees, and the community around us.  In accordance with current guidelines and school closures, SecureFutures has cancelled all classroom-based financial education programs until host school districts and community organizations resume classes and programming.  We look forward to continuing this important work with you in the future.

In the meantime, consider these ways to stay engaged virtually:

Complete this 10 question volunteer satisfaction survey.
Please take a few minutes to provide some feedback on your volunteer experience with SecureFutures.  Your input is important to us and will shape SecureFutures. If you already completed the survey, THANK YOU!

Take time to send a note of gratitude to educators and site partners that you worked with during the 2019/20 school year.  Search your Inbox for the Confirmation email for any program you delivered, grab the teacher’s email address, and send them a note of appreciation.  We’ve been in touch with many of our educators and we know that hearing from you would mean a lot to them. Our SecureFutures team would also be happy to provide email addresses.  Contact Volunteer Manager Kathy Weinberg-Kinsey or Program Associate Felecia Fluker.

Want to be a Money Coach for Fall 2020 or Spring 2021?
Money Coach is our semester-based mentoring program, where volunteers engage, support, and encourage students in small groups and one-on-one as they develop action plans to achieve financial needs and goals. Our next session will begin in the fall.

Volunteers are screened and placed into teams to best meet the student groups’ needs. For more information on the volunteer roles, please view these profiles: Group Coach, One-on-One Coach. Please contact Stephaine Crosley or Chineva Smith if interested.
