Job Opening: Money Path Partnership Coordinator

Report to: Senior Money Path Manager

Salary: $45,000 – $50,000

Founded in 2006, SecureFutures is a dynamic and growing organization with a mission to provide financial literacy programs and resources to empower students to make sound financial decisions. SecureFutures currently partners with more than 250 high schools and community-based organizations across the state. Launched six years ago, Money Path is our newest innovation in equipping teens with the tools for financial freedom. This cutting-edge, web-based financial education application allows students to explore how their decisions about college, career, budgeting, and saving will impact their long-term goals and lifelong financial success.

The Money Path Partnership Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Money Path team to expand access to Money Path across Wisconsin with a focus on high schools in the greater Milwaukee area. The goal is to help educators enhance their curriculum by adding Money Path to their lesson plans. This role will also provide implementation and technical support to educators and career counselors.

Responsibilities

  1. Money Path Expansion and Relationship Building
    • Conduct outreach to educator partners, focusing on Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Washington counties
    • Build relationships with educators and support the implementation of their programs
    • Solicit feedback and respond to any issues or challenges educators request
    • Provide customized lesson materials and aid in the development and refinement of implementation materials to support educators
    • Represent SecureFutures at external events, deliver presentations at educational meetings, and network at conferences to generate leads
    • Collaborate effectively with internal team and external volunteers
  2. Data Collection/Analysis
    • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to monitor programs and maintain/update critical program data
    • Update educator contacts in Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner
    • Monitor and encourage completion of student outcome surveys and educator evaluations
    • Analyze raw data and program feedback to provide action steps and enhancements
    • Assist with periodic reporting on program activity and impact
  3. Other
    • Contribute to marketing and educational partnership development/engagement strategies
    • Participate in fundraising activities, staff events, and other programs as needed

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of program-related work experience (non-profit, college/career readiness, education sector)
  • Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) database system, such as Salesforce, preferred
  • Volunteer or work-related experience with youth/teens is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (friendly, professional, informative); a large percentage of educator interaction is via email
  • Computer proficient, experienced user of Google and Microsoft applications
  • Experience working in the education sector or with educators, especially at the high school level, preferred
  • Experience with curriculum development or lesson planning preferred
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, well-organized, able to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Able to work cooperatively and effectively with diverse groups
  • Strong “customer service” proactive engagement attitude and Quick problem-solving and responsiveness to educators’ requests are important.
  • Adaptability to the ever-changing educational landscape
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and ability to travel to schools/educational events
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and overnight events
