Students in Wendy Appel’s financial program in Wautoma schools outlined the value of lessons like those on budgeting and credit shared in Make a Difference – Wisconsin lessons.
Student Wyatt Schmelzle said: “I will be 18 years old in April. I am currently employed at McDonalds and will be a manager there soon. The class has helped me so much. I learned how to use a checking account successfully; I didn’t know how to do that until now.”
