Our Money Coach scholarship competition is back! We will be awarding multiple scholarships of up to $1000 each to current or past Money Coach participants, selected from among those who share a compelling written or video submission about their experience in the Money Coach program. See below for participation guidelines, and use this form to enter your submission by the deadline of Tuesday May 13th, 2025. Participation guidelines

Qualifications:

Must be a current or former participant of the Money Coach program who is graduating from high school in 2025 or phas reviously completed high school.

• This scholarship is not open to freshman, sophomore, or junior high school students.
• Previous winners will be allowed to submit again.

How do I enter?

Submissions are due by May 13th, 2025. You can participate using this submission form in either of the following ways:

• a written essay, using the length guidelines provided on the submission form, OR
• a video submission, in either .mov or .mp4 format, and about 5 minutes long.

Your written or video submission should respond to the following question prompts:

Please answer BOTH of these questions:

1. In what ways has your experience in Money Coach influenced or impacted those within your personal and professional network (family, friends, classmates, coworkers, community, etc.)?
2. Reflecting on your experience with the Money Coach Program, how has it shaped your mindset and habits when it comes to making financial decisions in your daily life? Provide an example.

Please choose ONE of these two questions:

3. Share a story about a financial mistake you made and explain how your experience with Money Coach helped you overcome it.

          or

4. What long-term financial goal are you now working toward as a result of what you learned in the program, and what steps have you taken (or will be taking) to get there?

How will the entries be judged?

Winners will be selected based on how well their submissions achieve the following:

• demonstrate change or impact
• connect to the Money Coach program
• tell a compelling story

What are the prizes?

Multiple winners will be awarded prizes of up to $1000 each, to be used at their discretion. The scholarship funds can be used toward anything that the winners need to improve their financial situation.
