2018 Difference Maker Organization: Wells Fargo, a Multifaceted Partner

FacebookLinkedInTwitterSecureFutures has counted on the generosity of Wells Fargo to help us change the lives of thousands of teenagers in our community. That generosity and passion for our mission is why we are proud to announce Wells Fargo as the SecureFutures 2018 Lloyd Levin Difference Maker Organization.

Pete Syslack, Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo, a SecureFutures partner since 2009, provides support in a variety of ways. Their long-running financial support of both program and annual conference support totals more than $130,000; the equivalent of more than 2,500 students served in both Money Sense and Money Coach.

Wells Fargo also supports our volunteer recruitment efforts by encouraging employees to give back to the community. Since SecureFutures inception, 68 Wells Fargo volunteers have been involved, and we currently boast 31 active Wells Fargo volunteers. One of those special volunteers, Jeff Wozniak, was awarded the 2017 individual Difference Maker Award.

We are also grateful to have Pete Syslack serving on our Board of Directors since 2016 and Ann Miletti on our advisory council serving since 2012.

“Financial literacy is a key area of focus for Wells Fargo. We are proud to support SecureFutures because we see the impact that it makes with teens and our community.”

– Pete Syslack, Defined Contribution Practice Leader, Institutional Client Services at Wells Fargo Asset Management

The award recipient is chosen by the board of directors and staff to recognize one organization’s exceptional commitment to our teen financial empowerment mission and vision.
