Welcome, Mark!

I’m incredibly excited to join the SecureFutures team! I come from a background rooted in working with and empowering young people, and I’ve always been passionate about creating spaces where they feel seen, supported and confident in who they are and who they can become. A big part of that journey came through coaching. During my seven years coaching cheerleading at Franklin High School, I had the opportunity to lead my athletes to four state championship titles and was honored to be recognized as Coach of the Year. While I’m incredibly proud of those accomplishments, the greatest reward was watching my athletes grow, believe in themselves and realize just how much they were capable of.

That same love for people extends far beyond my work with youth. I genuinely enjoy getting to know others, hearing their stories and discovering the unique qualities that make them who they are. At my core, I love being happy, making others happy and bringing positive energy into the spaces I’m in. My faith is also an important part of who I am and helps guide my sense of purpose and how I strive to show up for others.

Outside of work, I love traveling, exploring new cultures, going on road trips and taking in beautiful scenery. I especially love experiencing different cultures through food. I’m a proud foodie, although I would argue that “foodie” doesn’t quite capture my level of expertise. I also enjoy staying active, spending time with family and friends and, whenever possible, planning my next adventure.
