2026 Money Coach Alumni Scholarship Competition

Our Money Coach scholarship competition is back, starting on April 1st! We will be awarding multiple scholarships of up to $1000 each to past Money Coach participants, selected from among those who share a compelling written or video submission about their experience in the Money Coach program. See below for participation guidelines, and use this form to enter your submission by the deadline of Monday, April 30th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Qualifications
Must be a former participant of the Money Coach program who completed the program prior to the 2026 spring semester and is graduating from high school in 2026 or has previously completed high school.
- This scholarship is not open to freshman, sophomore, or junior high school students
- Seniors who are currently participating in Money Coach in the spring semester are not eligible (You will be eligible in the next school year)
- You do not need to be in college to apply
- Previous winners will be allowed to submit again
How do I enter?
Submissions are due by Monday, April 30th, 2026. You can participate using this submission form in either of the following ways:
- a written essay, using the length guidelines provided on the submission form, OR
- a video submission, using the link we provide
- You will receive an email with a link to either upload your pre-recorded video or record your answers on the spot. If you have any trouble accessing the link, please email Pa Vang at pa@securefutures.org
- If you are pre-recording your video, make sure your video is in the format of either .mov or .mp4, and about 5 minutes long
How will the entries be judged?
Winners will be selected based on how well their submissions achieve the following:
- demonstrate change or impact
- connect to the Money Coach program
- tell a compelling story
What are the prizes?
Multiple winners will be awarded prizes of up to $1000 each, to be used at their discretion. The scholarship funds can be used toward anything that the winners need to improve their financial situation.
