The Teen Financial Capability Champion Award recognizes exceptional individuals who demonstrate a deep commitment to SecureFutures and its mission to provide financial education and mentorship to teens. Bill Nasgovitz, Chairman and Portfolio Manager at Heartland Advisors, and his wife, Marian, are longtime supporters of SecureFutures, and Bill has served on the organization’s Advisory Council since its inception. A Champion-level donor since 2010, Bill has provided ongoing annual support for SecureFutures’ programs and has sponsored the Investment Conference.

In 2018, Bill and Heartland became the founding sponsors of the Money Path app, and his generous gift made it possible to offer Money Path at no cost to all high school students across Wisconsin. In addition to winning the award, Bill was the Keynote speaker at this year’s annual Investment Conference where he shared economic and investment insights as well as a generous $75,000 match challenge. Bill Nasgovitz is truly a Champion of Teen Financial Capability.
